Kuan Yin: is part of the Goddess Series. (see Goddess Series link below). She is the Taoistic-Mothergoddess, and also the Buddhist Goddess of love and humility. She is probably the most well-known Asian Goddess in the West, and is worshipped primarily in China, but also Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and India. Here name has a number of spellings, but this is the one I found most often. She was commission by a Wiccan who has chosen Kuan Yin as her personal Goddess. In my research, I found her depicted a number of ways, but always with a headdress of some kind -- she is also known for her pale skin. This is my artistic interpretation. Kuan Yin was hand painted in Photoshop, using a graphics pad. She's also available as an ornamental tile. (tiles link below)
