Garden Spirits (print size: 16"x20"): More experimenting with an impressionistic style. This piece was inspired by a photograph of my cats, Monkey (L) and Daisy (R), sitting on a stump in my back yard. I was struck by the contrast between the light cat and the dark one, and also the intensity of their concentration. I have no idea what they were looking at, but a frog seemed plausible. The entire picture was painted by hand in Photoshop with a graphics tablet.
