About the Art

In early 2003, I began to branch out into tradition art in acrylics, oils, and pencil.  I discovered the wonders of both the digital and the more traditional mediums.  I feel that they complement each other nicely, and in some cases can be used effectively together.

At this update (year 2006), I've almost completely abandoned my digital art in favor of the traditional, though I continue to use the computer extensively to assist in composition, file formatting and many other processes.

I have had virtually no formal art training. Sometimes I begin with a concrete idea but, just as often, my mind is as blank as the canvas. Some images take mere moments to become "art," while others I fuss with for weeks.

I will be glad to share any of my techniques with anyone who's interested, just drop me an email note.
